“Meka Chan” di Claudio Acciari, Bao Publishing
Claudio Acciari è un’ottima guida in questo viaggio all’interno del mondo del fumetto, dell’animazione, del Giappone.
Definirlo un fumetto è riduttivo anche per ragioni tecniche come l’assenza dei ballon, tipici di questo genere.
Ogni tavola, costituita da 12 vignette in bianco e nero ha le battute scritte sotto ciascuna di essere, con un gusto retrò che ricorda lo stile delle strisce pubblicate dal Corriere dei Piccoli.
Assomiglia più ad uno storyboard, ad un progetto di animazione non concluso. E la formazione di Acciari come animatore per la DreamWorks, emerge in modo evidente. La sequenzialità delle vignette ha dei buchi narrativi che vengono colmati dal lettore, che ne immagina l’animazione.
Andando oltre la componente tecnica ho trovato bella, commovente la vicenda narrata.
Meka Chan, ragazzina adolescente, piomba sul pianeta terra all’interno di un asteroide. Leggendo scopriamo che è stata cacciata dal suo pianeta, popolato da androidi, perché più umana che robot rispetto al resto della popolazione.
Questa sua spiccata umanità fa sì che sia più buona, altruista e generosa rispetto agli altri, e quindi emarginata. Arrivata sulla terra scopre l’amicizia e vive nuove avventure. Fino al giorno in cui è messa di fronte al bivio fra partire per tornare a casa o rimanere sulla terra.
Nella storia risulta evidente il dualismo bene/male rappresentato dalla contrapposizione umano/robot. Questa dicotomia è presente in gran parte della produzione di fumetti e anime degli anni 70, in cui i buoni erano i robot che combattevano contro l’invasione aliena.
È una lettura che sa di buono, che fa riscoprire valori che nel passato erano maggiormente considerati. E per questo motivo da suggerire sia ad un pubblico giovane che agli adulti.
