Il libro è suddiviso in 9 sezioni a seconda del tipo di evento:

Le 90 ricette hanno una connotazione internazionale, anche se il sottofondo di gusto francese, bretone e inglese è evidente.
Due sono gli chef che si sono occupati della redazione dei testi: Vincent Lemain (chef pasticcere) e Michel Lerouet (chef dea cucines des Maison).
La storia di Ladurée comincia nel 1862, quando Luis Ernst Ladurée apre a Parigi il suo panificio che ben presto diventa la pasticceria e sala da tè più famosa della città. Il merito va anche alla location decorata con angeli e putti alle pareti e alla sua invenzione dell’angioletto pasticciere.
Oltre alle ricette in ogni sezione è possibile trovare dei suggerimenti utili per la buona riuscita nell’organizzazione che riguardano l’allestimento, il saper ricevere e suggerimenti di carattere più generale.
Bellissime le molte foto presenti all’interno del libro. Per i piatti si predilige un’inquadratura in primo piano che mette in risalto la qualità del prodotto e la cura dei dettagli.
Nelle foto degli allestimenti invece la scena si allarga ma anche in questo caso a risaltare è l’eleganza.
Un libro utile per esperti e non solo, ricco di spunti e suggerimenti ma anche uno splendida idea regalo che lascerà a bocca aperta chi lo riceverà.
