“Belvedere – In volo sulla Toscana – Flying above Tuscany” di Guido Cozzi, Simebooks
Un viaggio leggero, come il punto di vista che Guido Cozzi, fotografo di professione e autore del libro, sceglie di utilizzare: la prospettiva ” a volo d’uccello “.
Una scelta stilistica sicuramente, che permette di assemblare in un’unica inquadratura tutti gli elementi della scena. Ma anche una “tecnica narrativa”. In questo modo si conferisce importanza alle singole parti, che tornano a dialogare fra di loro con estrema grazia.
E Guido Cozzi in questo è particolarmente abile…
Fondatore della “Phototravel”, agenzia fotografica specializzata in reportage di viaggio, ha sperimentato diversi stili narrativi a seconda del tema da affrontare.
E in questo libro, in cui ” racconta” la tematica a lui cara della sua terra, la Toscana, ha deciso di utilizzare una prospettiva fotografica inedita. Grazie all’utilizzo di droni, mongolfiere ed altri dispositivi, ci regala un’immagine iconografica nuova, dall’alto ma non troppo, a volo d’uccello.
Il libro è suddiviso in cinque parti, zone, quelle più care all’autore: Il cuore; Anarchia e nobiltà; Terra d’artista; La grande Toscana; Terre Matte.
Il testo è bilingue, facilmente fruibile dal pubblico italiano, dagli stranieri e da chi vuole cimentarsi nello studio confrontando i due testi.
Edito dalla Simebooks il libro risulta curato nei minimi dettagli, elegante e sobrio.
La sezione per me più bella è quella dedicata alle Terre Matte, la Maremma, di cui amo praticamente ogni singola foto.
Ma ce ne sono molte in altre sezioni che meritano di essere menzionate.
Quella dell’oliveto di Montespertoli (pag.26), in cui l’inquadratura mette in risalto l’aspetto ordinato dei filari di ulivo, equidistanti fra loro. La forma circolare degli ulivi sembra giocare con le ombre degli stessi, che si proiettano sul suolo.
Così come e molto bella, per i giochi di luce e le contrapposizioni di colori, è la foto del Battistero di Pistoia (pag.47). Il colore bianco/grigio dei marmi del battistero si contrappone cromaticamente all’abitato circostante dai colori caldi (giallo/rosso/marrone).
Un libro di cui ci si innamora man mano che lo si sfoglia e che ci sussurra in modo familiare storie di una terra magica.
