La lezione degli alberi è un libro che mi è stato suggerito da una mia collega, un’ottima libraia e una splendida persona che non sbaglia mai un colpo. Le basta scambiare un ampio di parole con il lettore perduto di turno, per trovare il giusto suggerimento… E se il mio istinto non sbaglia, ci sa fare anche nel resto.
Ammetto che anche questa volta ha fatto centro!
Amo la natura, il verde e soprattutto gli alberi, i maestosi signori della Terra.
Grandi punti esclamativi che collegano la Terra al cielo: ancorati al terreno dalle forti radici e con le braccia protese in alto, ad abbracciare l’immenso sopra di noi.
E cercavo appunto un libro che li celebrasse ma che allo stesso tempo non fosse troppo didascalico. Una lettura adatta per tutti e che allo stesso tempo ne ricordasse, ribadisse l’importanza.
La lezione degli Alberi di Parmeggiani
ha esattamente ciò che desideravo.
Si tratta di un libro indirizzato ad un pubblico giovane ma che suggerisco anche ad un lettore adulto, specie per l’insegnamento in esso contenuto.
La storia è raccontata in modo semplice e la lettura scorre in modo piacevole. Poche le parole, raccolte nella pagina di sinistra, risultano consone e sufficienti a trasmettere il messaggio, che diventa comprensibile e chiaro grazie alla similitudine albero-bambino.
Sulla pagina di destra troviamo le illustrazioni, realizzate da Attilio Palumbo, che danno sostegno e forza, al testo.
I disegni dei protagonisti e delle parti più rilevanti della storia sono realizzati in modo nitido, con contorni definiti, quasi ci fosse la volontà di metterle in risalto. Lo sfondo sembra realizzato con pastelli a cera e accompagna la vicenda contornandola di colore.
E il gioco con il colore è ben presente in questo delizioso libro dalla forma rettangolare-orizzontale, perché ogni pagina che lo costituisce ha un colore differente dalla precedente e da quella successiva.
