Italiana. L’Italia vista dalla moda 1971-2001: Una mostra e un libro che nascono da un progetto ideato da Maria Luisa Frisa e Stefano Tonchi.
La mostra è una celebrazione della moda e della cultura Made in Italy, che hanno saputo imporsi nel panorama internazionale nel corso degli anni.
Una mostra del Comune di Milano e della Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (a Palazzo Reale dal 22-02 al 06-05-2018), costruita con la volontà di far dialogare fra loro diversi elementi.
Oggetti, stili e atmosfere, creano un viaggio immaginario che permette ai visitatori di rivivere il trentennio 1971-2001, e, allo stesso tempo, di comprendere l’evoluzione e lo sviluppo del sistema moda.
Dalla nascita del pret-à-porter di Walter Albini fino al crollo delle Torri Gemelle: la storia dell’Italia analizzata dal punto di vista della moda.
Ma non solo moda in senso stretto. Coinvolti anche il mondo del design, dell’architettura, dell’arte e della cultura in un dialogo fecondo e dai risultati sorprendenti.
Nove le sale allestite con abiti, accessori e fotografie, in cui all’ordine cronologico si è preferito quello tematico.
I ricavi della mostra, che celebra anche i sessant’anni della Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, saranno devoluti a CNMI Fashion Trust.

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
