Poderi Luigi Einaudi. Piemonte, Langhe, Dogliani
I poderi Luigi Einaudi sono geograficamente collocati in una delle zone più belle l’Italia, le Langhe in Piemonte.
La tenuta fu fondata nel 1897, quando l’allora ventitreenne Luigi Einaudi acquistò la cascina San Giacomo nel paese di Dogliani. Oltre alla cascina settecentesca e ad una cappelletta sconsacrata sita poco distante da lì, il senatore acquistò anche quaranta giornate piemontesi di vigna, grazie alle quali si cominciò a imbottigliare il Dolcetto e a farlo uscire dai confini regionali.
La passione di Luigi Einaudi, che non trascurò mai le vigne, nonostante i gravosi impegni come presidente della Repubblica, è esattamente la stessa che hanno dimostrato di avere i suoi successori.
I Poderi sono ora gestiti da Matteo Sardagna, nipote di Luigi Einaudi, che alla passione ha saputo unire, in un connubio perfetto, anche l’innovazione.
La vinificazione avviene in moderni fermentatori d’acciaio computerizzati siti nella cantina in “Cascina Tecc” completamente interrata, di modo da ridurre l’impatto ambientale e assicurare costante temperatura e umidità.
La maturazione avviene infine in botti di rovere di varie dimensioni e, in alcuni casi, si conclude in bottiglia.
“Innovazione nel rispetto della tradizione” insegnamento del senatore Luigi Einudi che i figli e il nipote Matteo hanno saputo rispettare appieno.
Esperienza Multi Sensoriale
In passato avevo avuto il piacere e la fortuna di frequentare le Langhe.
Come per le precedenti esperienze, anche in questo caso sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita: il tutto mi parla di poesia.
Dopo circa 2 ore e mezzo di viaggio da Milano siamo arrivate nella zona sita fra le provincie di Asti e Cuneo, circondate da colline coltivate a dolcetto, barbera, nebbiolo,giusto per citare alcuni dei prestigiosi vigneti. Nonostante il tempo non del tutto favorevole, la bellezza del luogo incantava.
Morbide colline abbracciavano la carreggiata; sulla cima delle più, piccoli castelli, dimore di signori dei tempi passati.
E giunte ai Poderi Luigi Einaudi nel paese di Dogliani, luoghi di produzione dell’omonimo vino, lo spettacolo che si propone è più o meno il medesimo.
Ad accoglierci all’interno dei Poderi, Matteo Sardagna e suo cugino, Andrea Gessner, fondatore della casa editrice Nottetempo (http://www.edizioninottetempo.it) e proprietario della splendida “Libreria Verso” di Milano (http://www.libreriaverso.com).

Abbiamo partecipato ad un tour guidato all’interno di “Cascina Tecc”, zona di produzione e invecchiamento dei vini dei Poderi Einaudi.
E come per il resto, la magia dell’atmosfera era palpabile.
Alla storia della famiglia si sono alternate informazioni utili e interessanti di carattere tecnico legate alla produzione e invecchiamento.
Per me, che di passione ne ho tanta, specie per l’ambito enogastronomico, è stato curioso scoprire, ad esempio, che il Barbèra dei Poderi Einaudi, subisce un invecchiamento di 5 anni prima di essere stappato, 4 dei quali in botti di rovere e 1 in bottiglia.
Degustazione
A seguire il tour: momento degustazione.
Due i vini che hanno attirato il mio interesse e che hanno colpito il mio palato.
Un bianco, “Langhe DOC Vigna Meira”, di colore giallo paglierino, bouquet di agrumi con note minerali e notevoli capacità di invecchiamento.
E un rosso, corposo e ” caldo”, adatto a secondi a base di carne e selvaggina, “Luigi Einaudi Langhe rosso DOC”. Grande vino risultato di un assemblaggio di uve Cabernet, Merlot, Barbera e Nebbiolo.
Un’ esperienza davvero unica, indimenticabile e, giustamente, multi sensoriale.
