“Associazione Cammino di Sant’Agostino”
L’ Associazione Cammino di Sant’Agostino, associazione senza scopo di lucro, nasce e si sviluppa grazie alla cooperazione di un gruppo di persone con in comune la condivisione della passione per la valorizzazione della cultura del territorio.
Dal 2009 lavora con questa finalità, organizzando di una serie di cammini “lenti”, fra i quali il più importante è ” Il Cammino di Sant’Agostino “.
Cammino di Sant’Agostino
Il “Cammino di Sant’Agostino” prevede il raggiungimento di 50 Santuari Mariani, dislocati in sette provincie per un totale di km 620 e un tempo di percorrenza stimato in 26 giorni.
Le tappe toccano i luoghi definiti “emblematici” della vita del santo: Cassago Brianza, luogo della conversione; Milano, ove fu battezzato nel 387 d.C.; Pavia, ultima tappa della sua vita.
Una delle caratteristiche peculiari del Cammino di Sant’Agostino è la forma del suo percorso a rosa stilizzata.
La rosa ha il suo fiore nella zona della Brianza; le foglie in direzione est ed ovest, a coprire le Provincie di Monza-Brianza, Milano, Varese e Bergamo. Il gambo unisce Monza, Milano, Pavia e Genova; le radici si estendono fino a toccare il suolo africano.
Il Cammino infatti ha un tragitto che copre una notevole estensione e non si limita al solo territorio italiano.
E’ infatti possibile proseguire fino a Tunisi, Ippona toccando Sageste, dove sono appunto raffigurate le “radici” della rosa stilizzata.
Nella sua parte italiana il Cammino copre aree a densa urbanizzazione. A primo acchito questo potrebbe essere considerato un limite, un vincolo al vivere appieno un’esperienza che vorrebbe essere spirituale e di liberazione.
In realtà questo tipo di esperienza, il confronto con la quotidianità, vissuto con lo spirito del pellegrino, del viandante, può essere molto utile per capire i limiti della vita moderna.
Uno spunto di riflessione su quelle che sono le condotte da migliorare, al fine di poter vivere meglio.
Il Sentiero di Leonardo
Oltre al “Cammino di Sant’Agostino” l’ Associazione promuove e organizza un tour chiamato “Il Sentiero di Leonardo”, cammino che unisce Milano alla Svizzera, fino al Passo San Bernardino.
I kilometri coperti dal percorso sono in questo caso 240 in 12 giornate.
I luoghi oggetto di interesse sono quelli connessi in modi diversi al Maestro Leonardo da Vinci.
Sfruttando i sentieri storici costruiti nei secoli per ragioni logistiche e soprattutto economiche, il sentiero di Leonardo consente di conoscere una parte di fondamentale importanza per lo sviluppo della società del tempo.
Un’indagine storico ed economica dentro una di carattere più “biografico”.
Il camminare, il peregrinare è considerato un po’ la metafora del destino dell’essere umano, sempre alla ricerca di risposte su di sé e sul senso della vita. “Dove andrà la mia vita?” quesito agostiniano, è perfettamente rappresentato dall’incedere camminando con tutte le sue gioie e i suoi dolori.
Sfruttando occasioni come i cammini organizzati dall’ Associazione Cammino di Sant’Agostino si ha la possibilità, non solo di scoprire luoghi meravigliosi, che hanno fatto da sfondo a personalità illustri come il Santo e il Maestro Da Vinci, ma anche indagare se stessi.
